This issue we get to find out what happened to the tapes and it’s a pretty cool conclusion.
After the fire and a quick check in with his uncle, Manny goes home to spend time with his wife. Just as he is getting ready for bed the hippos storm in and try to grab him, they weren’t expecting Cassy though! Manny smooths it down and arranges for Cassy to go to his uncles for the night and he goes with the hippos.
Once we find out what happened with te tapes Manny and Oscar take a trip to the elephants where they pick up some things and head home. Manny ends up back at the elephants for a party but partly to treat his wife to space as well.
It ends with the snuff tape saga not necessarily over!
Really liking this comic, Manny and Cassy’s relationship has hardly been touched on but I am engrossed and really moved by how they interact and I hope at some point it gets developed because it is pretty touching to read. LOVED the elephants, fighting and partying are exactly how I could see them acting if they really did behave like humans all the characters are really well thought through how their mannerisms would cross over to a human style world. Brilliantly done
