From the Mind that brought us Sons of Anarchy the Sisters of Sorrow looks like it could easily rival the sons on every level.

The sisters are all survivors of domestic abuse and witness an ex-husband wreak revenge in his spouse with fatal consequences. The others kill him and although it was a heat of the moment killing it sparks a flame in the group.

Dominique especially feels the spark as the cop who ran her off the road and killed her daughter gets off scot free and that is something she can not stand for. Along with most of the group, Dominique hatches a plan to dish out their own brand of justice and begin to train and plot their big moment.

The plan works perfectly and the only thing left on the sister’s mind is who’s Next? Hopefully, they will work their way through everyone who has hurt any member of their group with elaborate plans each issue.

The artwork is amazing and really pops off the page. It’s dark and gritty and doesn’t hold back when it comes to the violence and gory parts which are shown beautifully and tastefully the violence never feels gratuitous. Brilliant issue
