Comic Review: The Hellblazer #12 (DC Comics)

We start with Dantes Lil sister throwing major shade at his girlfriend but only because she is worried about her brother.

She should be more worried about herself though as Leon has the Djinn Marid at the door and they show no mercy to innocent bystanders! Constantine and Mercury are struggling to calm Dante down and to get him to trust them but eventually and maybe against his better judgment he does and takes them to the book.

The trip to the book is not as straightforward as Constantine would have preferred but he soldiers on to reach the top and the treasure that waits. His achievement is short lived tho as Marid shows up demanding the book or else Dantes sister will suffer.

Constantine really steps up here as he sacrifices himself after giving mercury the book and Instructions to finish it for him. Marid looks like he honored the deal and let everyone go but in true Constantine, style death didn’t really take and Constantine soon woke up and hopefully will get back on the heels of mercury and Dante and hopefully before Madrid catches up to them.
