BOOM! Studios releases a nostalgic 90s TV show of the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers which is Go Go Power Rangers on its first issue.

The whole series of Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers, or should I say Dinosaur Squadron Zyuurangers had made a comic book based on the actual TV show in the early 90s. The thing is that since the Power Rangers movie came out this year, I expect that there is more Power Rangers franchise that needs to be created and to bring back our childhood. It’s crucial for me to read one of my childhood heroes of the power rangers comics, but since I watched all 50 episodes of the Zyurangers, I’m also ready to explain the furious things that Saban Entertainment ever did to the series from the Super Sentai series.

The story begins when the Power Rangers are using the Megazord/Daizyuzin (Great Beast God) to fight against Goldar/Grifforzer. The Power Rangers are about to win, but when suddenly Goldar plans to retreat from battle. The battle is yet to begin until the other rangers started to have some flashback on their normal lives as high school students. However, Zordon calls the Rangers for a warning that Rita Repulsa/Witch Bandora is planning to attack Earth once again and she’s holding the astronauts as hostages. So they went to the moon palace also known as the Bandora Palace to rescue the astronauts from Rita’s hands. Will the Rangers hope to survive their mission or will they fall into the hands of Rita Repulsa and her minions?

My reaction to this, the Power Rangers comic is great for children and adults who watched the show. I clearly enjoyed watching the show on my childhood, but unfortunately after watching the whole season of the Zyuurangers. I feel like there some problems with it and I’m completely pissed off with Saban’s series. So here are the most top 10 frustrating parts in comparison of the Power Rangers and the Zyurangers.

First of all, the astronauts from the first episode, Rita never took the hostage from them, they literary killed them by sending them into the asteroid field and then she took the children on the rocket ship as hostages. But even if the astronauts freed her, Rita would never do harm for them, thanks to that, Rita was curious to know what happened to earth after thousands of years in her slumber. And also the whole comic is the continuation of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers first episode, so Rita did took hostage of them, but something tells me that there is more to that than sending the astronauts to an asteroid field, and kidnaps the children.

Second, the Moon Palace has used the moon as her home/base, but it’s actually called the “Bandra Palace” right from the panels of the comic just by looking at the front of her castle’s name. The palace has her name on it as Bandora, so Saban edited the palace to use it from the Zyurangers to the American Power Rangers episodes and that’s where the confusion is at.

Third, the Bandra Palace had been at the moon the whole time as her base for a witch like her, she even has the ability uses her magic to teleport her castle to the top of the building just in order to get to earth and have her revenge on humanity and the Power Rangers/Zyuurangers.

Fourth, if Rita Repulsa uses her magic wand to make her minions grow into a titan-like monster just like the everyday Power Rangers episodes, however, Rita made herself grow into a giant pussy witch from Zyurangers on the 3rd and the 4th episode when the rangers were on a quest to retrieve the legendary weapons. How come the actual Rita Repulsa didn’t grow herself into a giant to take over the planet in the Power Rangers series, it could be much easier for her other than wasting her time to have Pleprechaun/Finster to create some more monsters and have her to make them grow just to take a dump on earth.

Fifth, Rita Repulsa/Witch Bandora sold her soul to Satan after her son Kai got himself killed by a dinosaur, then how is the fact that she’s has been an alien the whole time?! Does she actually been thrown her off to space and raised in M51 Galaxy with her adopted family? MY GOD!! SHE’S A FRIGGIN’ HUMAN WITCH!! The whole series didn’t make any sense just until I learned from the Zyurangers the fact that Bandora became a witch to get revenge on the dinosaurs and humans but unfortunately sealed away after losing her magic just by crying in grieve of her dead son again. And the actual Rita continued on her revenge on every season of the Power Rangers. Rita’s only weakness for a witch like her is to make her shed tears if she cries, if she did that would be the end of her.

Sixth, Zordon had chosen some random five “teenagers with attitude” like Jason, Zack, Billy, Trini and Kimberly to become Power Rangers, how come the teenagers have the power to use the power of the dinosaurs to fight evil and protect the earth. The five warriors of each tribe from the Zyurangers would never give that kind of power to the modern teenagers of the present. Allow me to make it clear, the Zyurangers were the warrior of the 5 different tribes who protected earth once in their distant past and they’re in a deep slumber after they sealed Bandora/Rita and her minions inside of a magical dumpster seal. The story literary reflects on the warriors with the power to wield the pre historic dinosaurs after over 100 million years later when they have awakened to fight evil. The white sage Barza was guarding these warriors against Bandora until they have awakened. And their mission is not only to defeat Bandora/Rita once and for all and to protect the dinosaur eggs that had been protected by dinosaurs and they’re alive for so long. But on the Power Rangers series, Zordon pulled a middle finger to the show viewers if he had hands, and literary chose 5 random teenagers to become Power Rangers to fight against Rita and save earth, without explanation of the of the existence of the dinosaurs, no ancestry to the 5 legendary warriors, and the fact that how Rita/Bandora became a witch after making a deal with the Great Satan. MORE EPISODES COMES IN, WITH THE SAME TEENAGERS, SOME SHITTY MONSTERS AND SOME DIFFERENT COSTUMES AND SOME RIPOFF MEGAZORD TRANSFORMATIONS FROM SENTAI SERIES ON EVERY SEASON. To me, I guess Toei and Bandai are gonna sue Saban for that.

Seventh, Bandora despises children on her modern days because they’re loud and immature and she wanted to make them suffer because she’s a fucking sadistic monster. She even made her own theme song right after her fucking name with some Arabic music which it seems catchy, a very good beat, and very stupid to know that her song is all about hating children and shit. Rita, however, wouldn’t care less about the children and focused on world domination instead, and never made a theme song for her in the American series, instead we have GO GO POWER RANGERS song on every episode.

Eight, I gotta say, the Green Ranger? Many fans really liked the Green Ranger on the actual Power Rangers series which is Tommy. Tommy is considered the greatest ranger of all time and the fans wanted so bad to see him in action, his life never lasts just to know how great he was to be part of the Power Rangers. Tommy is more powerful of a ranger than Geki’s brother Burai, because his power was only to take revenge on Geki because his family were murdered by Geki’s “father” or step-father, and then joined his team by learning his own mistake, then he was carelessly wasted his time to help his brother and his team to fight Bandora just until he died in his brother’s arms, because his lifespan is limited after he was awakened in the modern world and he had some less time to live.

Ninth, the Power Ranger series comes up with some comic relief characters like Bulk and Skull. I admit it’s hilarious and they look stupid to see how many times these doofus duos literary fail for life many times during the show. Whether or not, they’re determined to know the secrets of the Power Rangers (BY OPENING A FUCKING DUMPSTER) and failed miserably, and even when they became security guards for their school and failed as slackers. As for the Sentai series, we don’t have any of that like the bullies with comic relief, but instead, we have a little comic relief from the Sentai series and the happiness of the children from the Zyuranger episodes.

And Tenth, Bandora/Rita Repulsa just literary named her monsters right after her name, like Dora Spinx, Dora Minotaur, Dora Talos, etc. No wonder how the names were changed in the Power Rangers series, I mean as for her minions, Toei came up with some crazy names that are hard to believe. The vampire Topat or Baboo as you called it, but WTF am I seeing? A black vampire that can actually suck human’s blood, and his name I guess his ability is to “pat” his enemies? huh. Then there’s Bookback/Squatt, please WHAT KIND OF NAME IS THAT? Then what the hell do you call my backpack or book back? SQUATT?! Please don’t get me started, his name is stupid and he’s nothing but a blue goblin who carries stuff in his messenger bag. Griffozer/Goldar and Lamy/Scorpina, they were both married just before Rita’s war against the Power Rangers/Zyuranger, Scorpina is especially known as Rita Repulsa’s secret agent which is seemed to know that the power is to camouflage herself into different forms, especially transforming herself as a scorpion with a giant ball of rock rolling around town. Even though, when these two are together, they actually made a great team, but after Rita and her minions sealed away by Megazord/Daizyujin after losing her powers, they both gave birth to their son, their relationship was strong, she even thought about to start a family. And Pleprechaun/Finster, he’s no threat to the Power Rangers, but he spent his own time, to create Golem warriors and monsters by Rita herself, there’s nothing to say about him.

Yep, the whole series is nothing but a duplication of the Super Sentai series, but they have blindly enjoyed the show until they expose the whole Power Rangers series for what the show truly was. The thing is the Power Ranger series was great, even though the whole series became popular in the past generations because the show is more promising to bring one of the Japanese squadrons with spandex to fight in order to keep earth safe. Either, I’m impressed by what they did so far just to get Americans some attention between the Power Rangers and the Super Sentai series. Better yet, this is the first issue of the Power Rangers, but I would like to know what comes next?
