Wow, 13 episodes and everything was great and I can’t wait for season 2.
What can I say about the show, it had family drama, superhero and super heroin, race, great music and awesome storyline. Each episode was made to be watched one after another and each one was always making me look forward to the next one.
It stars Cress Williams as Jefferson Pierce / Black Lightning and Kaden Washington Lewis as teenage Jefferson Pierce, China Anne McClain as Jennifer Pierce Jefferson younger daughter, Nafessa Williams as Anissa Pierce / Thunder the older daughter often called Harriet Tubman, Christine Adams as Lynn Stewart Jefferson’s wife, Marvin “Krondon” Jones III as Tobias Whale The big bad of the series, Damon Gupton as Billy Henderson the officer who helps Black Lightning and James Remar as Peter Gambi who has a secret that ties Jefferson gift and helps him understand his powers and with his tech.
This is a wonderful tv series that is not part of the Arrowverse, but I do hope it comes because it would make a great addition to the lineup.
