Pretty awesome new comic from Image that deals with a farm on the border and illegal aliens.
Some of this comic isn’t in English which I found a little offputting at first but genuinely it doesn’t matter as the artwork speaks for itself, you can tell the struggle and the emotion crossing the border illegally that Oscar goes through you don’t need to know exactly what he is saying. Liddy’s story couldn’t be clearer her farm is under threat and no one seems Interested in helping her protect it so she takes her own precautions.
There is a fantastic split page portion showing both stories at the same time that I loved, the contrast between the two set under the same sky is a pretty cool effect and when their stories connect a huge curveball gets thrown which opens the whole story up.
Pretty cool story so far and a unique idea which will be interesting to follow as it unfolds.
