Nightwing is in Hollywood to meet up with a special mysterious client.

As the title may suggest its Magilla Gorilla he is meeting and boy has he made it big looking pretty suave in a tailored suit and hoping to make a film about Nightwing’s life. This is a pretty awesome crossover Nightwings grittiness suits Magillas story better than it really should with junkie sisters and deeply seeded feuds with grape ape the seedy underworld of Hollywood shows a darker side of Hanna Barbera.

A mystery to solve is never far away from Nightwing and this issue has a doozy! a frame-up, a murder, and more twists and turns than you can imagine makes it a really exciting read and could easily hold its own as a crime thriller (if you can get over that most of the characters are apes) The artwork is brilliant with the action and tension captured with ease, i loved the trapeze panels and the nightclub fight was superb. A really enjoyable comic all round and one I would happily read as a monthly series!
