BOOM! Studios releases another Sci-Fi graphic novel that looked similar to Star Wars in Firefly Legacy Edition on its first volume or “Book One.”

This isn’t really the first Firefly graphic novel, but this comic is related to a film Serenity and a Television adaptation where the whole series began. And the show just ran between 2002 and 2003. It’s kinda like Star Wars, but the series was amazing, to begin with, Fox just only brought out only ONE season of the show, because it was canceled after eleven of the fourteen produced episodes were aired. It was really a letdown for the viewers to have the show cut in short time, but even the Firefly series is still going on, it brought out some film and some other franchise came through, like this comic. And it was made by Joss Whedon, the same author who “visionary” created Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which makes the whole comic series turn into a TV adaptation to their creations. Firefly is more like a rip off of Star Wars where Han Solo and Chewbacca were introduced on episode four, but let’s move on to the story.

First off, the whole story is about some gang of cowboys who travels around with a spaceship, stopping bad guys on every planet they’ve gone through. Please remind me to have someone with some references from The Simpsons and Star Wars?, I think my gut is telling me to splatter this shit up. So there’s nothing much to say about this comic. It’s just some crazy stories with history and secrets lying around through space, with space-cowboys and a lot of stuff and drawn by some various artists, it’s like you’re watching an actual Star Wars movie, like the Han Solo movie that you’d just watched a few months ago. For that, the series continues on its very day because the TV series was so good, you got to have more. I mean, there are sequels that already made the fans hyped like Bugs Bunny, I’d just don’t understand why the series has been canceled in the first place?

I got to say, the art that these artists done is mostly like what you’ve seen from the TV series, I mean one of them is probably drawn in Marvel style, but what I can remind of is the Star Wars comics on Marvel that almost looked similar to this comic. Joss Whedon had created the universe where all human and aliens were created. But whenever I read this there are some Chinese speech bubbles on one of the panels, I mean have you watched one of the episodes when one of the actors speak Chinese? I’d like to know why did it include Chinese speech bubbles in the comic? The story is flawless, and just like the show, the series must go on. So why did it get canceled anyway, many fans liked that show and wants to have more, so don’t stop there, if it counts as a failure, that’s okay, you can renew the whole series once again and make the show great again. If you rather read a comic which is mostly the forgotten TV show on FOX, then this is for you.
