Gunning For Hits #4, from Image, continues the spin.
Will Martin keep control of Blake, the veteran rock legend? Will his many spun lies get away from him, or circle back in for the kill?
How about Billy, the naive young guitar talent and his girlfriend, who are fighting between themselves? How about more drugs, more backstabbing and more of everything, coupled with more and more money?
It’s all fantastic, in my eyes and ears. I love reading this title, written by Jeff Rougvie and illustrated by Moritat. Casey Silver is on letters and colour, and bravo for that too.
This book hooks you big time and keeps the dialogue realistic, the drawings intuitive. It’s as if your own mind is creating the prompts for the next panel, the links are so natural. Great expressions, gestures, body language, and tones.
