Comic Review: High Level #5 (Vertigo Comics)

Thirteen and Minnow are almost home, surely its smooth sailing from here!

The closer they get to High Level the more it feels like something isn’t right, the paradise portrayed on the screens is clearly fake and purely used to keep the masses working hard and not rising up. I can’t wait to see Minnows role in the situation as she is obviously important but for what reason? There are a lot of twists and turns here and it really makes you wonder who exactly the good guys are and if Thirteen has actually been doing their dirty work for them by delivering Minnow!

If she has I have every faith that she will not stand for it and will save the day unless Minnow steps up and rescues them both first. The artwork is awesome it has a real futuristic feel to it but also very familiar too, it feels like although its a far-out concept it also is scarily believable. I don’t think we have seen the full extent of what Minnow can do and I think everyone is on for a shock next issue, Minnow included!
