A dystopian future with an almost Shakespearian feel at times equals a pretty good first issue.
I love the style of this comic its a little tank girlish and a little deadly class which makes it a lot awesome! The characters are brilliant too, the connection between Izzy and the Vulture is funny and I can not wait to see it develop as both characters are pretty cool and seem to take things as they come without it bothering them.
The writing has a pretty strong Shakespearian vibe at times which is a nice twist matching it with such a barren wasteland especially when it coincides with the strip club that really does take everything off. The eartheater is another great character that I can see really driving the story as there is no way Izzy wants to face him head-on.
My only question is about my favourite situation in the issue, when Izzy fires the gun she says Bang and it could mean one of two things either she always says bang and its just a cute thing she does which I think is funny but my favourite way to think of it is that she doesn’t have bullets and by saying bang she psychically fires a bullet which would be EPIC and brings the whole world up a notch!!
