There are two stories in IDW’s Giant Disney Comics and Stories issue 7.

First up is The Money Tree, in its first US appearance. Written by Laura and Mark Shaw, and illustrated by Giorgio Cavazzano (colour by Disney Italia), this one is a bit similar to another Disney story I’ve read recently. No matter, it’s fun. Uncle Scrooge discovers that a huge tree on his property is bearing fruit. Strange fruit, though: bags of money! Well, we know that this is the start of a zany adventure for Donald and Scrooge!

Second, we have The Distracted Delay, in ITS first US appearance. Originally written by Daniele Vassella for the Italian market in 2017, it’s illustrated by Maurizio Amendola. Donald has a date with Daisy and is afraid of being late. But everything bad seems to be happening to Donald today!

Lots of fun in this issue!

After a career of graphic design, art direction and copywriting, I still have a passion for words and pictures. I love it when a comic book comes together; the story is tight, and the drawings lead me forward. Art with words... the toughest storytelling technique to get right. Was this comic book worth your money? Let's see!!
