A new Kickstarter is underway, and you could say that it’s just in time: Producing The End Of The World, a comic anthology deals with, yes, the impending end of the world!

This 160-page full colour anthology contains 18 short stories, each approaching the post-apocalyptic era in a different manner. From sinister boardrooms where executives plot the world’s destruction, to a couple of flood victims navigating through a waterlogged town, this collection is a colourful scoop of comic entertainment that revolves around a particularly compelling theme: life and death!

I’ve had a look at just a few of the stories in this anthology, and there is a nicely varied series of creative voices here. Editor Anthony Pollock, with assistant editor Gary Proudley has assembled a world of talent from his home base in New South Wales, Australia.

After a career of graphic design, art direction and copywriting, I still have a passion for words and pictures. I love it when a comic book comes together; the story is tight, and the drawings lead me forward. Art with words... the toughest storytelling technique to get right. Was this comic book worth your money? Let's see!!
