The drawings by turn are exquisite. Hanuka’s carefully rendered people, with their apt and rapt expressions, his gift for exaggeration, his ability to observe and revamp little details for us to enjoy.
The book is a collection of his weekly full-colour autobiographical comics, mixing pathos, humour, whimsy, and dark dark thoughts. Memorable reading.
