On Thursday, May 30 @ 11:00pm ET/PT, W. Kamau Bell welcomes comedian Jim Norton and Jezebel blogger Lindy West to discuss the on-going debate between censorship and artistic freedom. Will Bell, both comedian and feminist, be able to bridge the ideological divide? Let the games begin!

New Jersey native Jim Norton is a comedian, radio personality, author and actor. A fixture on the talk radio show Opie & Anthony, Norton is also a regular correspondent for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. His other late night talk show credits include Late Show with David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Fox Red Eye, Hannity and Joy Behar, among others. On HBO, Norton hosted Down and Dirty with Jim Norton, appeared the half-hour special One Night Stand, and had his own one-hour stand-up show entitled Monster Rain. He co-starred in Louis C.K.’s series Lucky Louie, and made cameos in the feature films Spider-Man, Zack and Miri Make a Porno and Courting Condi. His first book, the New York Times best-seller “Happy Endings: The Tales of a Meaty-Breasted Zilch,” was published in July 2007. His second book, “I Hate Your Guts,” also became a New York Times best-seller in November 2008. Norton has three stand-up comedy CD’s: Yellow Discipline, Trinkets I Own Made From Gorilla Hands and his most recent release, Despicable, which in 2011 debuted at #2 on the Billboard comedy charts.

Lindy West is a Seattle-based writer, humorist, storyteller, and cultural critic for women’s site Jezebel.com. After seven years as a film reviewer and editor for The Stranger (Seattle’s alternative newsweekly), she signed on as a Staff Writer/full-time moral scold at Jezebel, where she attempts to make social justice palatable by disguising it as entertainment. She specializes in angry, hilarious polemics on racism, sexism, and human bodies. Her work has also appeared in Slate, GQ, the Guardian, the Daily Telegraph, the New York Daily News, Vulture, Gawker, Deadspin, Cracked, msnbc and others. She is the author of the humorous self-help book “How to Be a Person.”

Other stars who have visited Totally Biased to share their views, include Aisha Tyler, Don Cheadle, David Alan Grier, George Takei, Wanda Sykes, John Oliver, Tom Morello, astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson and journalists Rachel Maddow, Matt Taibbi and Dave Zirin.

Kamau Bell as he hilariously dissects politics, pop culture, race, religion, sex and the media from his own unique point of view. The show is a mix of Bell’s commentary, live guests, sketch comedy and taped segments. A half-hour series, Totally Biased is produced by FX Productions and is shot in New York City before a live studio audience.

This September, with the launch of FXX, Totally Biased will go daily, with 130 new original episodes, airing Monday through Thursday nights at 11:00 PM ET/PT, with Best of the Week compilation episodes Sunday nights at 11:00 PM ET/PT.
