Nickelodeon and Hot Topic announced today the launch of a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows men’s t-shirt inspired by the hit digital download video game. Available exclusively in select Hot Topic stores across the country and online at HotTopic.com, each t-shirt comes with a code to unlock ‘Turtle Power’ from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows game. Turtle Power allows players to execute unlimited special attacks against enemies in the game. This marks Nickelodeon’s first-ever video game collaboration with a national specialty apparel retailer.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is a third-person brawler game set in New York City, taking gamers through articulated, true-to-life environments filled with action-packed adventures as Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael. Featuring an original hyper-realistic 3D-style, gamers can experience four-player online co-op play while stomping out the Foot Clan and unleashing turtle torment on any foe that gets in their way through: drop-in/drop-out co-op in Story Mode (supports up to four players online and two players locally); challenge mode (single player with leaderboard support); and a retro-themed, side-scrolling arcade mode (supports up to four players locally). Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, from Activision Publishing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATVI), is available now, exclusively for digital download on Xbox Live online entertainment network from Microsoft for Xbox 360, and for Windows PC via Steam. It will be available later this year for the PlayStation®Network.
