Frankly, a whole new way to chat with friends, will serve as the Official Chat-App of Wizard World Comic Con through the remainder of 2014, beginning with Wizard World Philadelphia Comic Con, June 19-22, both companies announced today. With the Frankly disappearing messenger app, available on iOS and Android platforms, Wizard World attendees will now have the ability to receive all of the exclusive activities and special give-aways, while safely and privately connecting with other fellow fans in attendance. With Frankly, what happens at Wizard World, stays at Wizard World.

Frankly’s features include:

  • Ephemerality: Send text, photos, video or voice messages that disappear after 10 seconds
  • Expression: Shout or whisper with a pinch, and let people know how you are feeling with colors
  • Celebrity chats: Have a live chat with your favorite celebrity at Comic Con
  • Q&A: Ask your celebrities that question you always wanted to ask through private Q&As
  • Group chats: Join a group chat and send photos of the best costumes and connect with others

Frankly will also provide the Frankly Lounge Charge Station at Wizard World events, an area where attendees can relax and recharge their mobile devices to keep the conversation going.

Following next week’s Philadelphia Comic Con, Frankly will continue as Official Chat-App at Wizard World events in eight additional cities in 2014: San Antonio (August 1-3), Chicago (August 21-24), Richmond (September 12-14), Nashville (September 26-28), Austin (October 2-4), Columbus, Ohio (October 31-November 2), Tulsa (November 7-9) and Reno (November 21-23).
