Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, Lucy, and the rest of the Peanuts gang return to television in Boomerang’s new Peanuts series.

As a long time fan of Charles M. Schulz’s Peanuts, it’s great to see them back on TV.

In the new Peanuts show, each episode is about 8 min long. In that 8 mins, the stories are all adapted from the newspaper strips. We’re talking about 17,897 strips, so that’s a lot of material to take from.

The show is actually a French cartoon that was been dubbed to English. But in all fairness, it was taking from the comic strip.

The animation may not be for everyone. It’s a little “choppy” for lack of better words. It almost looks like it’s stop-action animation. It definitely is something that’s going to take getting used to.

Overall, this show is a must for a Peanuts fan.  With the old strip being brought to life, it’s always nice to see them back on TV.

The Peanuts premieres May 9 at 10:30 AM on Boomerang.
