The New Set Comes Out of the Fan-Powered LEGO® Ideas Platform

Cartoon Network’s hit series Adventure Time will come to life in LEGO® form in early 2017, the network announced today as part of the 2016 Licensing Expo in Las Vegas. Adventure Time enthusiasts can look forward to owning their very own LEGO set from concepts generated by the fan fueled LEGO® Ideas crowd sourcing platform.

LEGO® Ideas is the home for thousands of LEGO concepts with potential to become full LEGO retail sets. LEGO fans from all over the world contribute to the Ideas program which features amazing models taking the form of everything from vehicles, and futuristic space stations, to well-known scenes from famous movies. Fans are encouraged to vote on the LEGOIdeas website for their favorite concepts and if an idea garners 10,000 votes within the selection period, it will be judged by a LEGO review panel and could become a real product available

Adventure Time is as exceptional brand with a fan base that spans kids, young adults and families,” says Pete Yoder, vice president of Cartoon Network Enterprises. “Our partnership with the LEGO Group affords the opportunity to produce an iconic product, sure to be coveted by fans of all ages.”
