Just as you thought life at Belle Reve couldn’t get any worse, the guards and inmates turn homicidally insane, Harley turns sane just to be grabbed by Killer Croc and Zod is waking up!
With all this goin on Rick Flag thinks outside of the box and comes up with a novel way to avoid turning insane and an, even more, novel -or should that be nasal way of dealing with Croc. The biggest problem at hand, however, is that the good General is healing fast and if he wakes then it is basically good night for mankind so everyone either not insane or doing a good job fighting it join up to help end the threat.
Hack, however, has her own troubles in the form of a digital Captain Boomerang who keeps coming back like a, like a nope can’t think of anything. He needs Hacks help to get back but being dead hasn’t affected his modesty as he believes he may be a God.
Suicide Squad is always funny, a lot of it is at Boomerangs expense so I’m glad his death may not have been fatal. Dr. Harleen Quinzel has a couple of good lines too showing that there may be a thinner line between her and Harley than we thought.
The bonus story this issue is not a glimpse backwards but rather forwards and introduces a very cool character that will lead us to a crossover series coming soon. We see their arrival at Belle Reve and their tour of the team before leaving the worst for last and ending with a face to face with the meanest resident of all Amanda Waller!
