This issue we find out what actually happened when Mercury entered the Rot with Swamp Thing.
As Swamp Thing was fighting off the Rot Mercury was engaged in a fight of her own in another dimension looking for Abby. She ends up in a pretty dire situation and finds out she is not alone, it’s maybe not Abby but it could be someone of use later! While Mercury is relating what happened to Constantine, Marid has assembled the elite together under Clarice’s name to have them join him in his plan or if they don’t agree, to die. Clarice steps in and possibly against her better judgment and definitely not what she wants to do she rallies them to Marid’s cause!
Really good issue that is definitely building towards something big! Mercury is hiding secrets from John and is searching for answers to her own questions as well as helping John out. Marid and Clarice are getting closer and closer to Marids goal and Constantine, well he’s always got something up his sleeve. Can’t wait to see if John and Marid face off while Marid is in his full Djinn form and find out what it is that’s going on with Mercury and how she fits in with the upcoming faceoff
