Good news and bad news with this issue, bad news it’s the last issue in the run, for now, good news it’s a fricking awesome issue with a massive ending.
Turns out Kev Jr turned hardcore pretty quickly after his mom died as he feigns weakness to draw a gang member in for his first kill. Cut to now and Kevin is riding dinosaurs and killing gang members left right and centre and has made a massive decision to what he is away to do! For growing up by himself in the wild he certainly isn’t stupid, he’s able to set trap after trap for the gang to run into and picks them off at his leisure.
The gangs boss seriously underestimates Kevin and thinks (to his peril) that winding him up is the best way to go but he is fatally shown that he was mistaken.
Again at the end of the issue, we are treated to pages of dissected artwork which I just love as you get to witness the process and how each layer adds to the effect. And we leave with the line that Savage will return and if it follows on from this issue it has potential to be even more epic!! I for one can not wait
