The Hollywood Reporter announced that the CW has ordered a pilot of Greg Berlanti’s Black Lightning TV Show.
Black Lightning is Jefferson Pierce, who was a former Olympic medal winner, and now a high school teacher. He gained the ability to generate lightning and decided to help clean up his town as a costumed superhero.
Black Lightning was created by writer Tony Isabella with artist Trevor Von Eeden.
