Comic Review: Suicide Squad #13 (DC Comics)

Wow, this is one hell of an issue, twists and turns and shock betrayals galore!

We kick off with what happened to Rick Flag and Katana with a cryptic little premonition for Flag to dwell over and Rustam revealing that he may not be the bad guy we were lead to believe he was or is he just conning Flag and Katana? Only time will tell but it will be interesting to see what happens with him now Waller is dead.

The rest of the team are fighting over Waller’s killer with Harcourt trying to regain control leading to a brilliant segment from Killer Croc as he plays peacemaker but without being allowed to eat them. Djinn is back hacking into the database and as Hack tries to stop him she is treated to all the files he has deciphered and tries to warn Harcourt that she is in danger. Djinn disables the brain bombs of the squad so all bets are off and one of the team reveals themselves to be working for Rustam and runs off.

In the aftermath of what just happened and free from brain bombs Harley treats the team to a night out bonding over drinks and as she overindulges she inspires Hack to find out for sure who the peoples spy is and unfortunately she finds out the hard way with a massive reveal at the end of the issue that I was not expecting at all!!
