BOOM! Studios releases a new mystery, dark and horror comic series of The Unsound.
Basically, it’s about a girl who got her a new job, but the mystery unfolds when the girl enters the mansion for sick people. The series created by Cullen Bunn and illustrated by Jack T. Cole.
Ashil was excited going on her first day at her new job, however, there are things that have been happening to the city lately, because fear has gotten to everyone in their morning basis. As soon when she got into St. Cascia the whole building is almost a ghost town because this building is more like a hospital. Things would go so much weird from all of this because this building is where Ashil is going to start working. Before she starts her day, she heard a voice of a person right under its sheets but then it turns out to be a ghost or something, and it was a model of a human. A whole hospital is a bizarre place for her to work as a nurse, even if the location is far legit because what Ashil see from the inside is nothing but a rundown and a low-budget building that lasts for 3 or 6 decades ago. Will she survive from working at her new job? What mysteries lies on the building of St. Cascia?
In my reaction, the whole story is legit because for once, Ashil works at a rundown hospital surrounded by sick and crazy people that need to treat them to a good health. The building is more like the Arkham Asylum from Batman, and sometimes the hospital may be a scary place because some people don’t really like going to the hospitals, especially for me. The thing is that the whole comic series is more of a mystery because there are some really weird people in the hospital, which one of them would scare the hell out of Ashil. The story was very surprising to see how Ashil will experience fear because the hospital is a scary place to go. Not to mention, the illustration of this comic is legit, even he used such a composition of the hospital and even the characters of the story. I would recommend anyone to read this comic because whether if anyone of you likes to watch horror movies and play horror games like Outcast, then this is a must read.
