Wow, this issue flips everything on its head!! Past events and current troubles are not all that we were lead to believe.
Without too many spoilers there are some proper shocks this issue! Poor defenseless Cain 25 years ago isn’t as defenseless as we thought and it kind of explains the animosity between the two. Back in the present and as the noose tightens the powers behind the whole project begin to turn on themselves and it is every man for himself.
Kira is definitely not all that she appears to be and is not all that dissimilar to Cain and Abel maybe the project wasn’t quite forgotten about after all. Abel works his way up to ‘save’ Kira but as her awesome little trick with the knife shows she doesn’t really need anyone’s help. As Cain and Abel fight it out Kira half dismantles the bomb but can’t disarm it or remove it from its host, thankfully seconds before it explodes Abel manages to find a way around the problem.
This has been a brilliant run, really cool premise, faultless execution and plenty of fast paced high octane action.I can’t wait for the next issue because the way this story is heading you just can’t trust anything, especially that ending!
