Roberta is still seeking revenge for the death of her dad, Earl and boy did she know how to seek.
Southern Bastards is such an amazing comic it’s dark, gritty and violent as hell, what more do you need. So far it has had shocks galore with main characters dying suddenly and unbelievably making you feel sympathy for the bad guy. A little slice of Americana gone horribly horribly wrong in the best possible way (for us anyway). Just how long are the residents of Craw County willing to turn a blind eye for the sake of a decent football team?
Roberta knows Coach Boss killed her dad but she also knows no one will admit it and she is certainly asking Materhead as nicely as possible and he still isn’t cracking. Roberta is determined though and with a little flashback, we see why and how much of her dad’s personality has been passed on to her.
It’s clear Materhead is going to give up the Coach and it’s pretty clear that doesn’t really matter to Roberta, she is going to get her revenge no matter what and it looks like it away to get Biblical in Craw County!!!
