DC’s Mister Miracle returns with issue 7. It’s a brand new day!

Writer Tom King, and artist Mitch Gerads bring us the newest issue of Mister Miracle.

It’s been a fascinating ‘stream of consciousness’ story so far, told stylistically in small panels. Page after page of small panels. Page after page. Of dialogue that stops and starts. Like real speech. Of really real speech. Like this.

This issue: Scott Free and Big Barda go to the hospital. Barda is having a baby. But what to name it? Hmmm. How will the delivery go?

Seriously, that’s the story! I liked it, but it ain’t the kind of story that normally grabs me. Lots of great cameos in this one. And lots of small panels. With dialogue that goes like this. Seriously.

DC, Mister Miracle 7 (of 12 issues) $3.99 for 23 pages of content. Mature rating.

After a career of graphic design, art direction and copywriting, I still have a passion for words and pictures. I love it when a comic book comes together; the story is tight, and the drawings lead me forward. Art with words... the toughest storytelling technique to get right. Was this comic book worth your money? Let's see!!
