First things first if you aren’t already reading I Hate Fairyland or indeed it’s less courteous version I wholeheartedly urge you to go get it now! RIGHT NOW!
This issue was a definite highlight of the run I did not see the surprise return of one of Gert’s foes at all but was very happy to see them return as its a great character. Duncan remains in the lead role and really suits it as he searches for Larry so they can bring back Gert to save Fairyland. Larry jumps at the chance rather surprisingly, you would think his life would be so much quieter without Gert in it killing everyone but he goes out of his way to save her yet again.
Duncan and Larry make a pretty Badass team as they shout and threaten their way through the High Council and its guardian tree and don’t take any nonsense until they get Gert back (probably 2-3 days by post)
I love this comic the bright colours and cuteness totally throw you off the scent of the pure brutal unadulterated violence you are about to witness when you turn the page and it’s fantastic
