IDW Comics proudly presents one of Sega’s biggest franchises and it loving fastest hedgehog in Sega’s universe in Sonic The Hedgehog on its first issue.

From what I remember, this isn’t really the first Sonic comic made for IDW, but Sega produced the Sonic The Hedgehog comics on the old Archie Comics in the 90s. I mean I’ve seen the covers and the story so far, but that doesn’t mean that it changed or something. However this comic will launch the 25th anniversary of its predecessor. But fortunately Sonic had spent for almost 27 years battling against Dr. Eggman and his never-ending robot machinery to take out Sonic, just until Eggman calls it quits, well probably…

The story goes that since Dr. Eggman was defeated by Sonic many times, but never heard anything from him afterward. But all the other robots were making a havoc in every other town that Sonic sees. He teamed up with Tails to put a stop to them. But I wonder was it Eggman’s doing or someone else who’s controlling these robots? Will Sonic and Tails stop Dr. Eggman’s robots?

From what I know so far, is the Sonic comic books were actually best comic series around for the last 25 years, but the thing is that after the years of the Sonic comic book franchise from Archie Comics, one of the creators decided to move on to IDW Comics. And others, I don’t know what will happen now to the Archie comic book series. In any case, the new Sonic The Hedgehog comic series from IDW is actually the more amazing thing that the creators had done to keep the comic series going. If you really want to read the remade Sonic comic books series, then this is for you.
