A fantastic journey through the life of Caden Park as he begins to embrace his destiny.
I like the idea of this comic, these ancient beings caught in a supernatural war and an unsuspecting soldier taking his first steps onto the road of immortality. Poor Caden doesn’t have a clue what he’s getting into on both sides of the spectrum are trying to reach him first. The finale train journey is pretty epic with a fantastic final panel to lead us into the next issue where we could see Caden learn about what he has to do.
They do not shy away with the artwork either very nicely done, the bad guys look properly evil and behave as you would expect them and no one is afraid to show a little blood while they dismember a foe. The forces of good and evil are often pitted against each other but not quite this take on it and I can’t wait to see how the other characters develop
