BOOM! Studios and Saban Brands Rush Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 2018 Annual #1 Second Printing Back To Stores

BOOM! Studios and Saban Brands announced today that Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 2018 Annual #1, the next chapter of the historic POWER RANGERS: SHATTERED GRID comic book event that hits stands today, has sold out at a distributor level. To meet the overwhelming demand from fans, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 2018 Annual #1 Second Printing Variant will arrive in stores on May 30.

POWER RANGERS: SHATTERED GRID has now immediately sold out of every issue released over the past two months, including Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #25Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #26 and Saban’s Go Go Power Rangers #8.

POWER RANGERS: SHATTERED GRID unfolds in issues from both Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Saban’s Go Go Power Rangers and include two special one-shots. Lord Drakkon—a twisted alternate-reality version of Tommy Oliver (AKA the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger)—and his newly reformed deadly army will cross dimensions in order to execute on a plan that threatens the very existence of every Power Ranger ever. For the first time in comic book history, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers will join forces with some of the most popular Power Rangers teams in the franchise to face the threat.

Currently, Saban’s Power Rangers is celebrating 25 continuous years on the air, making it one of the longest running kids’ live-action series in television history with nearly 900 episodes aired to date. Created by Haim Saban and launched in 1993 with “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers,” the franchise celebrates its milestone anniversary year with the 25th season, “Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel” currently airing on Saturdays at 12 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon in the U.S.
