Nothing is simple with Antonio Luna even a trip down memory lane is a life or death experience.
It’s quite nice to see a more vulnerable side to Luna this issue as he sees his memories from the outside and questions whether his greatness and legendary status are deserved or not. I mean of course they are deserved, he is a fantastic character especially after the words “I had sex with a ghost” fit him perfectly and then its all but that’s a story for another time!! Fantastic
Valentine obviously is as intrigued as we are and who can blame her but I think she feels a connection with Luna now that leads to her foregoing her own safety to try and rescue him. Valentine’s own trip (never has a word been so apt) down memory lane is not the most warm-hearted of visions but hopefully, it spurs her on to live her life a little more like Luna does, if she survives that is
I don’t know how the next issue can get more elaborate or crazy but every issue so far seems to up the ante from the last and it makes a fantastic comic!!
