This prelude takes us straight into issues 48 and 49 of Batman so a little strange to read it after but pretty cool to see them segway into the main tale.
The Joker is not happy, but then having to escape from what looks like a grain silo is going to put a damper on your day. This is just the start however as Harley has years of spousal abuse to vent back onto him and she knows just how to go about it.
Harley sets up a series of extravagant death traps to teach the Joker a lesson but no matter how much she ‘knows’ the Joker he still has a few tricks up his sleeve for her and turns the tables in the most Jokery way you can imagine. It’s nice to see this pairing with Harley having the upper hand and finally standing up for herself but yet again its the Jokers sheer insanity that shines through, where even he seems to be surprised by his actions. The perfect accompaniment to the main arc
