“You’re pretty strong for some clown who thinks he’s Batman.”  “I am Batman!”

In 1999 the world was introduced to Terry Mcginnis a misguided teen who soon discovers he will take on the mantle of Batman. A now aged Bruce Wayne quickly realizes he can no longer carry on as The Dark Knight so we were introduced to Batman Beyond.

Nineteen years later we finally get the best Batman Beyond figure to date. Mezco released the San Diego Comic Con exclusive and in little, under 24 hours he was sold out at the show. This is by far one of the most underrated figures released by Mezco to date. Although I may complain that we have too many Batman figures as we speak, I cannot find one reason why anyone should not grab this figure if they can.

The figure includes a plethora of accessories including, 3 sets of hands, 3 batarangs, wings, two heads one of which is grimacing and two fire effects which fit on the bottom of his boots for the flying effect.   The attention to detail in the costume is uncannily emulating the T.V. show to a “T”. Articulation is always a favorite of mine and I have no complaints on the ability to pose him in different action shots. There is a reason why their saying is by collectors for collectors. Handle with caution the wings are made of plastic with thin points on each side. This could make for a very bad situation if dropped. When swapping hands careful handling is also suggested, the gauntlets are also made of the same plastic although tested for durability during the swap do not push your luck. It took a minute to swap the backpack for the wings only after did I notice a direction sheet in the box. Also included is a zip lock bag for storing your accessories.

Overall, this is a must-have, although sold out on their site you may be able to find this figure on the web,  grab while you can although the prices are reasonable now everyone knows that doesn’t last long. It is amazing to see the difference between 2015 and now the popularity has gone through the roof and yet not a bad figure to be seen.

Thank you Mezco you are everything fans and collectors have been waiting for.  Mezcomania is running wild!
