I love a DC crossover, it’s always fascinating to see two comics mashed together and work when they really shouldn’t!
Deathstroke and Yogi Bear could not be further apart if they tried but throw them into the same story and they shine, Yogis happy go lucky demeanor and Deathstrokes distant professionalism really compliments each other. I love how you can clearly see Deathstroke getting wound up by Yogi and it’s hilarious that Yogi is almost oblivious to it.
I love the little shout-outs to other characters littered throughout, and the bar conversations asking questions that in all honesty, I should have been asking myself a long time ago, I mean how does he even grip it? The story itself is really good with ample twists, plenty of humour and even a little bit of tugging at the heartstrings making a really good tale.
