The Ever-Lovin’ Blue-Eyed Thing gets another shot as a Marvel Legend!

With Disney and Marvel being a bunch of jerks about the Fantastic Four because Fox had the movie rights, for a while I was really worried we would never get new FF toys from Hasbro. Well, it looks like Disney and Marvel got their heads out of their collective butts and started giving us the FF again!

It started with the Invisible Woman first, then followed by Human Torch, and Mister Fantastic, all as exclusive toys with Walgreens of all places. So finally, we get the final member of the Fantastic Four, the ever-loving Thing!

Good lord this figure is impressive. The sculpt and paint apps are truly amazing. Hasbro really pulled out all the stops on this one. You can even see the blue in the Things eyes.

The Thing is a little over 7″ and he needs to be. Add to that 17 points of articulation, just adds to it.

He comes with 2 heads and 2 sets of hands. One angry head and one regular head. One set of closed fists and one set of open fists. This is where I really think the Marvel design team are true comic fans If you put on the regular head and open fist you can recreate the famous Jack Kirby image from Fantastic Four #51, “This Man… This Monster!” This may seem silly to you, but as a comic fan, this shouts volumes to me. Kudos gang!

Seriously, this is a figure you need to have in your collection. Whether you want to complete your Fantastic Four or just a Thing fan, you have to buy this.
