Akan seems to know Thirteen better than she knows herself as he convinces her to help Minnow get home.
The artwork in this issue is incredible, its really setting the scene for the adventure that’s about to begin. As Thirteen prepares for the journey we get a really good look at the area she lives in, the detail is amazing and really draws you into the world of High Level and this is just the first step! I can’t wait to be immersed into the different lands they have to traverse to get Minnow home if its anything like the beauty of Onida then we are in for a treat (even if it does start off a little shit)
I love the story so far, the relationship between Thirteen and Minnow is already feeling familial I particularly loved the bedtime scene, they could easily be sisters already so seeing them together for a long, LONG journey could be very entertaining. I thought the map charting their journey was a really nice, unique touch and I’m looking forward to see where the next issue takes them!
