Wow, pretty strong first issue with a final page that changes everything!
Faith dabbles in magic, her friends don’t really agree with it, enter Poppy! Faith and Poppy seem like kindred spirits and hit it off straight away, it feels like Poppy has the boldness and self-confidence that Faith appears to lack but I think there is MUCH more to Faith than meets the eye and as for Poppy well, we will have to see.
I love the artwork I mean its a bold opening 2 pages closed with a fantastic final page that goes full sexual circle for Faith with a more satisfying finish. The emotion is all captured brilliantly, the various frustrations of the characters which are rife throughout the issue barely need words as you can tell just by reading their faces how they feel, really well done!
I’m interested where this is going, is Faith actually tapping into magical powers? Is she actually really powerful or has she opened her life for something sinister to use her as a pawn? I really can’t wait to find out more
