The Rajin Cajun makes a return to Marvel Legends
Gambit has been a mainstay X-Men since 1990. Most people love him due to the GOD AWFUL X-Men cartoon. But Gambit is truly a multifaceted character and I’m so glad Hasbro has finally gotten around to giving us a new Gambit action figure.
This is an excellent figure. Gambit is wearing his iconic costume, which is hidden underneath his trademark trenchcoat. The sculpt is really nice. I really love the details. The pattern in costume, down to his red eyes.
You get all the usual points of articulation you expect from a Marvel Legends. I love the trenchcoat is made out of a softer rubber so it doesn’t hinder any of the movements. I love things like that.
For accessories, he comes with a charged playing card that fits into his left hand. It gives it a nice effect. There’s a bo staff that fits into his right hand. And finally, you can swap out the left hand with one that looks like Gambit is throwing multiple charged cards. Cool effect!
Out of this series, Gambit is the only figure that doesn’t come with a piece for the Build-A-Figure. I have no issue with this.
Bottom line this an awesome figure. So glad Hasbro got around to making an updated Gambit.
