It is getting seriously difficult to decide my favourite character between Canto and his Malorex!

I just can’t say enough how brilliant this book is, its the ultimate underdog story a tiny slave and a decrepit Malorex both with the hearts of Lions. There is a moment early on in this issue where our heroes meet The Hermit and an action sequence where both spring into action and land in the most heroic pose and I swear I saw it happen in slow-motion like a movie and my heart swelled with pride as these misfits joined together to face a perceived enemy head-on!

Cantos journey was never going to be that easy and of course, he has to move on with even more responsibilities on his small but stoic shoulders and that’s why we love him, you just can’t help but root for him. The Hermit is another really well-written character that takes us on a little rollercoaster of emotions as he moves from enemy to friend to mentor who prepares Canto for the tough journey which lies ahead!

He can’t fail in this, if he does I sincerely think it might break me!
