From Dynamite, Chastity (Volume 2) #1, is about the trials and tribulations of Chastity, a half-vampire amateur actress.

Dressed in form-fitting mesh and leather, Chastity is an urban girl. Half-human, half-vampire.
In the first issue, she shows us that she can hold her own against multiple foes.

Danger follows Chastity to her latest casting session, where the waiting room is more than just a place to stretch out and take a ‘wait and see approach’.

The storytelling seems a bit elongated and stretched out, but has good potential for paying off our patient ‘wait and see approach’ in issue two. Let’s hang in because the concept is interesting, the art is dramatic and well-executed, with complementary colouring. Not as in ‘complimentary beverage while you wait’, but as in ‘goes along with and supports the art’.

After a career of graphic design, art direction and copywriting, I still have a passion for words and pictures. I love it when a comic book comes together; the story is tight, and the drawings lead me forward. Art with words... the toughest storytelling technique to get right. Was this comic book worth your money? Let's see!!
