Comic Review: Redneck #23 (Image Comics)

Wow, Jv hits Greg with the worst thing a parent can say! Things must be bad.

With Greg away to help Carrona, the atmosphere with the family is a little tense. Jv tries to convince Greg to change his mind while he tells Greg that he’s not trying to change his mind then hits him with the “I’m not angry I’m just disappointed” line that all parents keep back for really special occasions! Carrona, of course, is all fun and games until the very last moment and he makes it perfectly clear that this is not something that you back out of.

I love how this book just grabs you by the throat and doesn’t let go I’ve lost track of how many audible wtf moments I’ve had reading this from the Jv death/return and Phils mass vampire eviction to evil gatecrashing the wedding but what Perry has resorted to might just beat them all! Desperate times indeed!

The next issue is going to be something special you can just tell and it could, hell it most probably will have huge repercussions for the Bowman family!
