Zenescope Entertainment has announced that the #1 issue of the popular publishing house’s brand new comic book series, The Watcher, has sold out of its initial print run through Diamond Comic Distributors. Each issue of this original three-issue horror/thriller series includes ten pages more story and artwork than a standard comic book.
“It always feels good to sell out of something you had a hand in creating” said Zenescope co-founder and writer, Ralph Tedesco “Victoria and I along with the incredible art team and editorial staff spent a lot of time developing and executing this story, so the fact that fans have been so receptive to the first issue is very gratifying to all of us.”
Zenescope’s titles have been seeing a consistent increase in sales this year with some of the company’s original sci-fi and horror titles. The publisher launched a new series entitled Conspiracy in late 2018 year with that #1 issue also selling out through Diamond. Zenescope plans to continue expanding on its horror and sci-fi content and sees that as a growth opportunity moving into 2020.
