Into every generation, a Slayer is born. Hellmouth is a Buffy/Angel crossover event.
Everything has hit the fan and hit it hard. Drusilla has activated the Hellmouth, is on her way to open it and Buffy is the only one left who can stop it. I loved both of these shows (Buffy/Angel) and this comic captures them perfectly and then adds more. The characters are portrayed brilliantly but the comic has added their own stamp so that it is not just a carbon copy of the shows which makes it even more enjoyable to read.
The peril is forefront throughout the issue but there is still time for a little humour to break up the tension and Angel still finds it easy to breeze through a situation leaving everyone confused as to what’s going on! When they do get into the thick of it Buffy and Angel work well together and have a rapport straight away, how that will last where they have headed I’m not sure but this is only going to get more epic and following Buffy’s lead I’m ready to dive straight in!
