The conclusion of the arc and it does not go gently!
You actually feel a little sorry for Angeles in this issue as it turns out Urban DK (still love the name) has been manipulating her and she is not totally the big bad villain we first thought. Marcus and Cassie have to stop Dk’s plan that could have massive repercussions as he tries to monetize the crow’s ability.
This issue has some really heartfelt moments as Cassie realizes more about Vlad than she has really thought about before and helps Angeles see the error of her ways while Marcus makes the biggest sacrifice he could possibly make in order to do the right thing, hopefully, the powers that be can rectify it on the other side.
By far my favourite panel is when Marcus and Cassie come gently rapping at Dks chamber door and Marcus quotes the raven poem while Cassie is equally as eloquent in her choice of prose. I love the artwork too, the fight scenes and the damage caused during them is a delight to witness the facial expressions alone really capture what the characters are going through without needing words at all, awesome stuff!
