This is such a cool comic! It’s about magic, tattoos, and science what more do you need!
Saskia has a gift it’s just she doesn’t know it yet, after entering a drawing competition she enters the hidden world of magic. The magic works through tattoos inked onto the skin that help the wearer channel their powers and when trained and be very powerful. The artwork in this comic is incredible the tattoos look amazing and really come alive when being used, love craft is suitably scary and the whole feel of the comic is an edgy underground scene that really adds to the atmosphere.
There are clearly two factions involved in the group, the older traditionalists and the younger generation who maybe haven’t the same reverence of the war and mix the ancient traditions with new technology and science to create powerfully and in Saskia’s case disastrous abilities.
Liza is clearly going to be the loose cannon that endangers the balance and the rest of the ‘Marked’ as the shady government men make an appearance in the final pages, the war may have been quiet for a long time but something tells me it’s about to kick off in a big way!
