Pandemica #2 from IDW is a strong comic about things that will make you weaker.

Written by Jonathan Maberry, with art by Alex Sanchez and colour by Jay Fotos, this book pulls no punches, pats no backs. You see, germ warfare is a reality. A gritty, sickening method being introduced to aid in genocide. Kill the enemy by germs. But do it clinically, that is, by targeting specific profiles based on racial characteristics. A dirty bomb that goes off at the genetic level. Let a pure white race remain supreme!

It’s dramatic, it’s full of swearing, it’s coloured in putty, pale green and salmon. Lots of blood, screaming, and 22 caliber rifles. The faces are ghastly, drawn-out, drawn creepy and full of expression. It’s the Pandemica, that group of science nerds and former special ops gunslingers.

IDW, Pandemica #2, $3.99 for 23 pages of content, Mature

After a career of graphic design, art direction and copywriting, I still have a passion for words and pictures. I love it when a comic book comes together; the story is tight, and the drawings lead me forward. Art with words... the toughest storytelling technique to get right. Was this comic book worth your money? Let's see!!
