Comic Review: Folklords #5 (BOOM! Studios)

Ansel’s quest raises more questions than answers.

Ansel is very lucky, he has friends new and old ready to step up and help him in his darkest moments. He could not have survived his quest without them even if Archer does have a habit of disappearing. Archer’s story feels like it is going to have a big impact on the rest of Ansel’s quest, whether that be good or bad I’m really looking forward to finding out.

There are so many questions need solving about almost every character where they are from their motive and more but Ansel is the biggest puzzle he is clearly not from the same place as the others but how did he end up there and why does he have visions. A few solutions have been hinted at and they are really interesting and I’m sure as Ansel’s quest continues there will be some big revelations to rock his world

One big revelation comes from the final segment this looks like Ansel’s counterpart following her own quest when they meet it could be pretty epic and have massive repercussions for the folklords!
