FINALLY an explanation for the Roanoke mystery.
Greg continues his vampiric education of the history of his kind and his bloodline just gets more and more impressive. The Bowmans are and always have been major players in the vampire world but with Grandpa already being revealed as the ACTUAL Dracula you would think nothing could top that, and you would be wrong. This issues reveal should not come as that big a surprise when you think about it but it really does and shows one character is even more powerful than first thought.
I love how Redneck has evolved from this small family trying to get by into a rich source of vampiric history than just gets deeper and deeper entwined into the very fabric of human history. The way it is written and drawn is just incredible and there is never a moment that feels wasted or unnecessary every panel adds to the story or builds the tension to the point that the reveals always manage to sneak up on you.
I cant wait to see where the Bowman bloodline takes us next and what Greg will do with all this information once his education is complete.
